Love this place. Solid beers, with a couple of outstanding offerings. The barrel aged stout is a favorable exception to the typical ‘connoisseur’ type that, while excellent isn’t usually very approachable. The Barrel Aged Stout here is excellent, has solid individual character yet is very approachable. One real star here is the outstanding British Bitter. (BTW, that’s a type, it’s actually not at all bitter…). It’s a real winner. The food is good, solid bar offerings. Nice ambiance & excellent service! Not open on Monday…. 😉
Had an amazing time. Great craft beer, delicious food and friendly staff. Went on a night with a live band and dj spinning vinyl after. Top notch spot in the heart of Phoenix
Absolutely love the atmosphere and service here. This is an old firehouse converted into a brewery.
We loved that they had five non-alcoholic beer options as well as vegetarian options. The vegetarian sandwich was FIRE and the portions were amazing.
If I'm ever staying in PHX again this will be my go-to spot for N/A beers and great food.
It's not often that I rate while I'm at a place....but railbender my favorite friend .....cranberry IPA a decent blend ..... and the greeky flat bread....it all makes me feel great; enough said.
Hazing Arizona this one is the best juicy I've ever had.... it's just a very smooth natural beer not too juicy.
This is my favorite spot in Phoenix. Excellent beer. The Hefeweizen may be the best I've ever had. The Just-Be-Nice Ale is surpisingly good. Honestly, it's all top notch. The food is excellent with the Bill Murray pizza really standing out. The pretzels are really good too. I don't often leave reviews, but this place deserves it.
After landing in Phoenix, this was the first place we stopped in, and we were not disappointed.
This is a converted fire station which is the origin story for their name - Walter Station.
Their parking lot (all 6 spaces) were filled, so we had to park in the street - this is the only negative for tgis place.
I ordered their Baja Girl blonde. It was perfect for what I needed - a light, tasty beer that was not too high in ABV.
For dinner, we ordered their a Hey Ryan pizza that was awesome - not too filling, but very tasty.
The service was great. Our waiter helped with tasters and advice on the different beers. Very helpful for my wife, who has trouble deciding!
Though we didn't sit there, they also have a small covered outside space (5-6 tables).
Step outside Phoenix Airport and you'll find a culinary gem that's impossible to resist — the Bill Murray Pizza at Walter Street Brewery. Every bite of this pizza is a harmonious symphony of flavors, with succulent meatballs stealing the show, followed closely by the aromatic whiffs of fresh basil. The garlic olive oil provides a refined touch, elevating the entire dish to new gastronomic heights. Couple this with the ambient setting of the Walter Street Brewery, and you've got a dining experience worth writing home about. Whether you're a local or just passing through Phoenix, make it a point to try this delightful creation. Your taste buds will thank you!
Mark your calendars for Saturday at 11 AM - we are releasing the 2024 Walter Station x @aawlphx Ale Wagger in cans and on draft! This year we brewed an American Pale Ale for the collab and we are so excited! We used Chinook, Citra and Centennial Hops for this dry, crisp ale - the perfect beer for the changing seasons!
There are limited quantities of this beer and we will be donating $1 for every pint and six pack sold, to AAWL. Come early and grab yours on Saturday!
